Lac La Biche County

The Business Improvement Program gives an incentive to local business owners to improve their business facade and appearances, transforming places into spaces where people want to spend time.

The program grants 50% to approved improvement costs, to a maximum of $20,000.

General Program Guidelines

• Funding is one-time, first-come, first-served. Grants are provided as reimbursements.
• Projects must receive prior approval before commencing.
• All projects must be completed by November 30^th of each calendar year.
• As per a motion of Council at the July 25, 2023 meeting, the rear facade of businesses will be considered under the Business Improvement Program for those businesses directly impacted by the Main Street Revitalization Project during all phases of construction.
